NOISES OFF by MICHAEL FRAYN

COPE AUDITORIUM, EPINAL WAY, LOUGHBOROUGH

TUESDAY 3RD to SATURDAY 7TH OCTOBER 2006 AT 7.30PM

The Falcon Players return to the stage in their first show of their 50th anniversary season with the famous hit show, Noises Off, written by Michael Frayn.

This very clever, smash-hit farce has won numerous awards. The show opens with a touring theatre company dress-rehearsing Nothing On, a conventional farce.

Mixing mockery and homage, Frayn heaps into this play within-a-play a hilarious mix of stock characters and situations. Caricatures — cheeky chaps, outraged wife, squeaky blonde — stampede in and out of doors. Voices rise and trousers fall . . . This is a farce that makes you think as well as laugh.

The show features some of the longest serving members of the group including Janet Holmes, Roy Emmett and Lawrence Holmes. These Falcon Player stalwarts will be eagerly supported by Kathy Phillips, Gill Pritchard, Chris Marlow, Cathy Rackstraw, Brian Binns and Andy Holt in what promises to be a great night out at the Cope Auditorium, Loughborough.

Tickets are on sale direct from the Town Hall Box Office, Loughborough or by telephone on 01509 231914 (most major credit/debit cards accepted). Tickets cost £7.00 for the Tuesday evening performance, £7.50 for the Wednesday and Thursday evening performance and £8.00 for the Friday and Saturday evening performances.
